Rocky Mountain Haze Small Weaving
Part of the first collection of 2021 — an exploration of texture and color, inspired by a hazy sunset in Rocky Mountain National Park.
This woven wall hanging was made with Belgian wool pencil roving, velvet, soft cotton cord, and various yarns. The wood was foraged and stripped by my sister. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly and tied with twine.
This is considered a small wall hanging, ideal for nestling among other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall (or on a narrower wall space).
MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
7” wide x 18” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.
10” wide x 21” long — the width of the wood rod, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
