Statement Weaving for Lululemon
I was invited by Omaha’s Lululemon store to create a statement piece to display as their 2022 4th quarter artist. This large scale weaving was on display in Village Pointe, and will be installed through the end of January. There were several other smaller works on display, as well.
This statement woven wall hanging was created with vintage art yarn, vintage lace, hand torn velvet, recycled sari silk ribbon, metallic cord, soft cotton cord, chiffon ribbon, gold accent cotton frizz ribbon, wool roving and cotton ribbon.
The driftwood was foraged from Artist’s Point in Grand Marais, on the shore of Lake Superior. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.
This is considered a textural statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying over a couch or as the sole piece on a wall.

MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
29” wide x 41” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.
32” wide x 45” long — the width of the wood, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
