St. Mary's Lake Mini Weaving
Part of the first collection of 2021 — an exploration of texture and color, inspired by St. Mary's Lake in Glacier National Park.
This woven wall hanging was made with art yarn from Port Townsend, WA, merino wool and chiffon ribbon. The wood was foraged at a canyon in far western Kansas. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly and tied with twine.
This is considered a mini wall hanging, ideal for nestling among other pieces of artwork on a gallery wall (or on a narrower wall space).
MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
5” wide x 12” long — the width and length of the woven body and fringe.
6” wide x 15” long — the width of the wood rod, and the length of where the nail will be to the farthest tip of fringe.
