Mauve + Gold Statement Weaving
This weaving was displayed in Landlock Gallery (Omaha, NE) as part of the Member Artist Spring Showcase in March 2022!
This statement woven wall hanging was made with recycled sari silk ribbon, soft cotton cord, golden accented cotton frizz ribbon, wool roving, vintage art yarn, and small amounts of wool blend fibers. The color story tells of mauve, maroon, grey, and cream. The wood was foraged from a rocky canyon in western Kansas. Woven goods will be wrapped neatly in paper and tied with twine.
This is considered a medium statement wall hanging, perfect for displaying over a couch or bed along with other pieces of artwork.
